Today we went huckleberry picking in Gifford Pinchot National Forest. After driving around a lot trying to find a good spot we found a nice little place with lots of berries. We got quite a few, for huckleberries that is. They're so small it takes a while to even cover the bottom of a basket. We saw some gorgeous views of Mt. Adams while we were driving around. I also got some good flower pictures up around the huckleberries. I love huckleberries! To end our picking trip we stopped at a little place in Trout Lake where they have wonderful huckleberry milkshakes.
