Hi there! These pictures are about two months old, but better late than never, right? At the beginning of May, I had a wonderful time going to the Washington, D. C. area to visit my Uncle Dan and his family. It was great just to catch up with them and spend some time together.
One thing we did together was hiking Bull Run Mt. (As the name suggests, it's close to the historic battle field). There's a really pretty view from the top. We had fun eating lunch while sitting near the edge of the cliffs looking over the valley.
The perfect picture frame. :-) This is the mill store next to Beverly Mill, at the bottom of Bull Run Mt.
Beverly Mill is a ruined mill that was built in 1742. It's amazing how old it is!
Thanks for sharing these; someday I hope to visit that area. The pictures are wonderful! Is your Uncle Dan your father's brother? Miss you and your family...

Thank you, Kathy! Uncle Dan is actually my mom's brother. But all of my aunts and uncles on both sides are on the East Coast.
ReplyDeleteWe miss you, too!
I love those pictures :)
ReplyDeleteCome again soon!
